Commercial FAQs
What size of commercial job do you take on?
Small-to-medium fit-outs: a shopfront, an office floor, a clinic, a café, a strata common area or plant room. Ducted, multi-split and cassette systems. For a large multi-storey building with a central plant you need a mechanical services contractor, and we will tell you so.
Can you install outside trading hours?
Yes. Commercial installs are planned around your trading hours, and the noisy work — core drilling, lifting the outdoor unit — is scheduled for when the premises is closed.
Do you offer a maintenance plan?
Yes. A system running all day in a shop or office is generally serviced every six months rather than annually: filters and coils foul in half the time. We set the interval when the system is commissioned.
Which brands do you install commercially?
Daikin and Haier, as certified dealers, and we service and repair all major brands already installed in your premises.
What warranty applies?
The manufacturer’s warranty on the equipment and JED’s 10-year workmanship warranty on the installation — the same as on a residential job.
